Bouldin & Lawson Bagging Equipment

A bagging machine that can accurately bag tough, dense soils, as well as lighter potting mixes.

CAPABILITIES: The Bouldin & Lawson Soil Bagger will fill bags from 8 quarts in size to in excess of 3 cubic feet.

BENEFITS: The Soil Bagger will handle most grades of potting soil with accuracy and speed. Variable speed hydraulic controls allow you to set the pace of your personnel (a solid standard is 18 bags per minute). The operator starts the process with a foot switch (leaving their hands free). The automatic bag holding chute opens, holding the bag tightly, while covering the mouth of the bag, eliminating excessive dust while filling. When filling is complete the chute closes, releasing the bag. Lengthwise and crosswise agitators keep a steady flow of material to the filling chute. Quick change-overs are accomplished with PLC controls and a pinned bag chute. Simplicity of operation and low maintenance make this a must-have machine for any soil bagging operation.

FEATURES: System includes a 4 cubic yard material hopper, lengthwise and crosswise agitators, 5HP hydraulic power unit, variable speed and PLC controls.

Bagging Equipment

To enhance your packaging operation, add a Bag Kicker, Bag Flattening Conveyor, Elevating Platform, and Palletizing Carousel. Bags travel down the Bag Carrying Conveyor after having been filled by a Soil Bagger and sealed with a Hot Air Sealer. The bags then travel to the Bag Kicker where they are diverted onto a Bag Flattening Conveyor where bags are compressed and flattened while moving up the Elevating Platform, bags are then stacked on the Palletizing Carousel. Your personnel can raise the Elevating Platform hydraulically as the stack on the carousel becomes higher. When the pallet is filled, the platform can be lowered and the Carousel is then rotated 90 degrees to provide personnel with a new pallet. The filled pallet is then taken away by a fork truck and ready to be stretch wrapped for shipment.

Portable Conveyors

Portable Conveyors, light weight and rugged, are available in two standard lengths: 10' and 21'. Manufactured with a 10" wide, self-aligning belt and anti-friction conveyor bed, the Portable Conveyors transfer pots or trays (5" to 5 gallon) with ease. With voltage transferred to the take-up ends, up to 6 conveyors can be powered from one source. Available in single or variable speed.

Incline Conveyors

Incline Conveyors are used to transfer raw or mixed material to designated locations. Uses include feeding raw material into batch mixers, including Twister I and Twister II continuous soil mixing lines or feeding potting or flat filling equipment. Available in two widths: 14" and 18". Incline Conveyors start at 10' and can be ordered in increments of 5' to meet your required dump height.
