1020TM Transplanter

1020 TransplanterThis transplanter is for Growers who want to increase production and efficiency while reducing labor and overhead costs associated with manual transplanting.

CAPABILITIES: The 1020 PlugPlanter will extract plugs from all industry standard trays as well as the new CE plug tray The 1020 will also transplant into any industry standard bedding flat including multiple sizes of carrying trays.

BENEFITS: The PlugPlanter can transplant up to 23,000 plugs per hour. A staging conveyor in the system allows pre-filled trays to be staged in line, resulting in uninterrupted transplanting giving you maximum production numbers. Uniquely designed Planting Fingers do not require a pre-dibbled hole. This helps to reduce compaction of the soil assisting in root development. The Planting Fingers handle the plug by the rootball so foliage damage is avoided. Because foliage contact is minimal, the 1020 PlugPlanter can safely be used on overgrown and naturally leafy plants (Begonias). At the time of planting, HydroJetTM Technology uses water to release the plant from the Planting Fingers and helps seat the plug into your finishing tray. Watering-in the plug at the time of transplanting helps to reduce plant shock.
