INFRA-RED HEATING SYSTEMS FROM ITALY
We are extremely pleased to offer the Advanced System Technology radiant module heating systems for greenhouses, agriculture and building heating. The AST company is Europe’s most creative and highest quality infrared system.
All systems are sold FOB Italy.
THE SYSTEMS ARE RUN ON NATURAL GAS, DIESEL AND PROPANE.
When it comes to heating your greenhouse you have always had to keep a close eye on the heating system. When greenhouses were first introduced, the only source of heat was provided by the sun’s radiation, a source of energy which unfortunately, in many parts of our planet is not fully available all year round.
Little by little, technology has advanced, especially in recent years when hot air heating gave rise to the quick developments we are witnessing today. However, we were able to establish very soon that the movement of hot air was one of the causes of plant disease and a source of thermal dispersion which is a side effect of hot air’s physical properties (hot air gathers in the upper part of the greenhouse).
The sun’s rays are still the best way to heat your greenhouse and therefore special exchangers which used water as a heat conveying fluid were then developed. When these exchangers are positioned under the stalls or under the floor, they give off heat directly to the plants and therefore into the greenhouse. This method which has been used up until now inevitably produces a large amount of water vapour which, when it comes into contact with the structures’ cold surfaces, condenses into drops which ultimately damage the plants.
Starting with these and other considerations, our many years of experience in the construction and use of radiant modules in industrial heating, animal breeding, drying processes, and in furnaces etc. Has allowed us to manufacture an innovative product, The “Infra mono” Radiant Module which runs on gas and diesel fuel. Lots of little “suns” become available in the greenhouse or wherever the heater could be useful. The warmth of these “suns” heats the plants directly without moving the air and at the same time reducing the relative humidity to the indispensable minimum. In addition to this, it is possible to heat the greenhouse zone by zone, thus avoiding the need to heat the whole greenhouse and allowing plants with different temperature requirements to be grown at the same time.
Advantages:
- Energy saving of up to 50%
- No air movement
- Less plant diseases
- Fighting excess humidity
- Zone by zone heating
- Easy to install
- Reduced maintenance
- Efficient procedure
Infra Radiant Module it Imitates the Sun’s Radiation
IMPORTANT: Using the “INFRA” radiant heating system, the regulation of the room temperature by thermostat will have to be performed by fixing the value at about 3 – 4 °C less than the temperature normally scheduled. In this way, not only will there be an ideal temperature for the plants but there will also be an ultimate reduction in thermal dispersion of about 15%.
Both versions are available with a special gas recirculating system which leads to a reduction in the level of NOx and will ultimately improve the efficiency of combustion
